Four years ago, I had an opportunity to interview MMA fighter, Green Beret, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, Tim Kennedy. I was running a nonprofit that taught kids in rural areas how to conceptualize and launch their own small businesses. Tim was very supportive of both the mission and the approach I was using.
The finished interview was 47 minutes long, but in this excerpt, we kinda stumbled onto the topic of what people need to do for their families during turbulent times. As we all remember, in the summer of 2020, nearly every large city was burning, so it seemed like a relevant conversation then, and remains so today.
I’ll probably post the entire interview for paid subscribers later this week.
UPDATE: After thinking about it, I am not going to post the full interview, and will not paywall this post. Tim did the interview in 2020 to help support the nonprofit I was running at the time. It wouldn’t be right to charge for it now.
